Chiropractic is like springtime in Yakima

It is springtime in Yakima and the buds will soon be on our local orchard trees and in our gardens.  This is a time to start thinking about spring cleaning and if you like to garden it is time to start thinking about planting flowers and vegetables.  Spring is a time of restoration.  In the winter plants are often stressed, injured and damaged due to the winter elements.  For example a young damaged tree may need extra attention in the springtime with fertilizer, extra water and perhaps a stake to help it grow straight.  Chiropractic is much like the gardener in this restorative process. We do not take credit for the miracle of life that transforms a seed into a plant and of which this same plant is able to heal and restore itself.  However, sometimes injured plants need a helping hand!

Chiropractic care helps the following;

  1. Restore normal motion, function and biomechanics,
  2. Improve alignment of new connective tissue,
  3. Prevent shortening of scar tissue and chronic stiffness,
  4. Restore and maintain flexibility of ligaments and muscles,
  5. Restore normal muscle tone and coordination ,
  6. Promote quicker, more effective healing,
  7. Restore and maintain normal sensation,
  8. Reduce the risk of re-injury and degeneration,
